So how many left the factory for sale?

The not so limited limited edition.

Many sites advertised 1000 unit limited run, I think everyone here believed the run to be 1000 only - I'm no scaper and I use my 0560CFCB, but the false advertising pushed the demand and price up on these.

I am disappointed the run is over 1000, the lengths I went to to get one now seems pointless and it isnt so exclusive.

False advertising not quite. Dont come in our house and crap on the floor. We don't do it to yours. Read the stickies and pay attention, capiche.
 
Man, the crying just never seems to end does it? This is not a collector, its a user, and sure its 1400 knives, not 1000, who cares..... And i believe, but dont quote me, but i Kai doesnt publish production numbers anymore.

They do not, specifically because of this problem. I do not see how it makes a difference. Limited to fourteen hundred pieces, or limited to one thousand. It is still limited.
