Think you just said to buy a Hinderer and put it up on the wall, but am not for sure.To put anyone's mind at ease who has chosen a Hinderer over a ZT, I will try to put it like an art dealer told me once when I was undecided
about buying a really expensive, for me, oil painting. He said, "Think of it this way, when you get up every day or go to bed every night and can look at it and think, 'Man I'm glad I own that.', you can't equate that enjoyment to dollars."
I bought it and like he said, owning something that is original and special is something that's worth a lot more than a few dollars.
Hope I said that OK.

From what I have heard, there really isn't all that much price difference between the 0560 and the XM18, if you buy them straight from the makers.
The HUGE price increase comes from the scabbers on the secondary market, selling $375 Hinderers for $800.
Basically, Hinderer himself created this price-gouging monster with his "I'll only sell to government employees" policy.
This is why I would buy a ZT0560, but I'd never buy any XM18.
I'm not a government employee, so I'm just not good enough for him.
The ZT 560 series are nice knives, but they aren't XM's by a long shot.
Does anyone really think that Rick would offer a cheaper product that would compete for sales with his semi-customs?
