ZT 0562 - Is mine a fake/clone?

The first thing I noticed was the box serial # doesn't match the knife serial #..

I took my 562 out to compare and I can name something that's different in every picture. Big time fake.

Don't give up on eventually getting an 0562. I'm a collector and have hundreds of knives, but my 0562 is one of my absolute favorites. It just feels.... Right.

I felt bad for you in the begining but now i am a little pissed. You pretty much scammed yourself here. Every manor US site has that knife for $200 usd. You pay $95 usd and then waste everyones time wondering if you got a fake? Come on man.

Well the guy who sold it told me that he got a good deal from a shop rhat went bankrupt and he had got it from a liquidated assets auction. I thought he didn't know the real value of the item. But I guess I trust people too much when most don't tell the truth to make money off others.
But as you can see, it's a pretty good fake and most wouldn't spot the differnece unless they had the original by its side. So I wanted to know if I had got a great deal or if I was scammed.

I've had luck with getting great deals on many things from online buying. I guess I wasn't that lucky this time.

he most likely did not get it from a liquidation auction, he's been doing this for a while with ZT/spydercos/striders...preying on people that can't tell the difference.

At least it turned out well and you got your money back mate!

Glad you got it straightened out. Don't give up on a 0562. My 0562 is the only one that will kick my Sebenza 25 out of my pocket, even if it is only for a short time.
