ZT 0562 - Is mine a fake/clone?

Out of curiosity Bruno, how much was the knife listed for? The MAP for that knife is $200, I believe.
 
Got money back. :)

Now to look for a new one, ill probably wait a bit as i don't want to for out $200usd for a knife ill abuse. I have a kershaw CQC 7 coming in the mail from a USA dealer for the mean time.

Don't give up on eventually getting an 0562. I'm a collector and have hundreds of knives, but my 0562 is one of my absolute favorites. It just feels.... Right.

I felt bad for you in the begining but now i am a little pissed. You pretty much scammed yourself here. Every manor US site has that knife for $200 usd. You pay $95 usd and then waste everyones time wondering if you got a fake? Come on man.

Well the guy who sold it told me that he got a good deal from a shop rhat went bankrupt and he had got it from a liquidated assets auction. I thought he didn't know the real value of the item. But I guess I trust people too much when most don't tell the truth to make money off others.
But as you can see, it's a pretty good fake and most wouldn't spot the differnece unless they had the original by its side. So I wanted to know if I had got a great deal or if I was scammed.

I've had luck with getting great deals on many things from online buying. I guess I wasn't that lucky this time.

he most likely did not get it from a liquidation auction, he's been doing this for a while with ZT/spydercos/striders...preying on people that can't tell the difference.

At least it turned out well and you got your money back mate! :)

Glad you got it straightened out. Don't give up on a 0562. My 0562 is the only one that will kick my Sebenza 25 out of my pocket, even if it is only for a short time.:)
