ZT 0562 loose pivot problems

I was watching a review of the 0562 on youtube and the guy was saying these decorative pivots have a tendency to come loose. Has anyone experienced this?
Any time I hear (or see on youtube) of someone's pivot screws coming loose, I always assume that the individual loosened/tightened said screw and forgot to apply blue locktite. But let's say that this did not happen and the knife came from the factory like that, you can do one of two things -- put locktite on it yourself or you can send it back to the factory and THEY can put locktite on it for you (or the aforementioned individual).

Thanks so I guess it would be more credible if a random guy posted it on baldeforums

Hey, you are the one asking the question to random people here on BladeForums.com ;)

It is called loctite, use it.

The person in the video stated they had used loctite and it still came loose due tot he poor design of the pivot...

Then he's a liar, or got an amazingly defective knife.
I'm betting on liar...it's a very common thing on both the internet and in real life.

I suppose it is possible (although unlikely) that he managed to get one with a defective pivot screw (broken threads either on the screw or in the tube?). Or maybe the screw (or tube) was stripped in the course of tinkering with it. More likely, he's not using the threadlocker correctly. Or some other personal agenda, as already mentioned by others above.

Well, clearly this You Tube maven of knife engineering and design has more knowledge on the subject than Rick Hinderer and everyone at Kai. Of course I haven't seen the video so maybe he does. On the other hand maybe it is just a damaged or defective pivot? Stripped threads maybe? There are a hell of a lot of those knives out there that haven't had the problem for it to be a bad design.
