Not deassisted. It was probably very lightly carried because there is some paint wear on the clip. The original crummy G10 scale was replaced with a Cuscadi contoured cf scale which is awesome. The original scale is included as well. No noticible marks on the blackwash frame or blade. I don't know if it was sharpened but it is sharp. Comes with box, insert, both scales and attached lanyard.
