Catch and release for me. Just got it yesturday and while it's a very cool piece of knifemaking- it's a bit too much of a tank for me. Used it to cut up one tater and onion and carried it yesturday. Locks up like a tank and centered. Fires fast with the wave and a bit stiff with the thumb disc.
