Bought as new/unused here but I think the original owner possibly messed with the pivot as it didnt arrive looking as crispy as Id expect. I chalked it up to me being anal. I just now gently placed my crappy bit inside just to make sure it wasnt stripped, didnt crank it, seemed to line up fine. I carried this knife 2 or 3x lightly. No noticeable flaws worth mentioning. Blade slightly favors presentation side when closed but hard to tell.
