Never deassisted. If it was ever carried it never cut anything. Can’t find any flaws. It may have been sharpened because the edge looks better than most ZTs I have had but I am not really a ZT guy. Comes with box, insert and extra pivot hardware and washers. That is how I got it in a trade a few years ago but I don’t know why the extra parts were included.
