ZT 0801CF In The "Wild"

As someone who has both, (777 BLK though, not composite) I can honestly say I slightly prefer the 801CF over the 777.

To me personally they arent even in the same ballpark, but different stroke for different folks. I used my regular 801 enough to know that there are other knives that I prefer. Definitely a great looking and flipping knife with awesome materials though.

To not be a douchebag flipper. Maybe actually help folk out(I know that is a disappearing concept these days) who wanted one but missed it. Take your pick.

"Helping", heh. If I have to choose between me making money, or the next guy, I'll choose myself every time.

Every time I've tried to "help" someone here with a good price, I see my knife on the exchange at a higher price a short while later.
I'm not here to make money, but selling something below market value is stupid, and if the seller and the buyer are happy with the transaction, then it isn't anyone else's business.

That said, I totally stumbled into a 0801cf after deciding a while back that I wasn't interested. I got it for far less than 300, and I still have it. Beautiful piece.

Lets keep this "sacred" thread about the 0801cf, less arguing and more pics please:D

Will be posting mine up later today!

Thanks ArabianKnight, I've been dozing off.

Everyone else, please discuss the knife, post pictures, etc. Take all the discussions about flipping and such to new threads if you want continue those debates.

Personally, I'm amazed that this thread has gotten so many replies and views.

Thanks to everyone for taking an interest in this knife. Its a real tour-de-force.

Im only willing to pay $320 or below (direct from dealer) and I wasnt able to get a backup. Its even more coveted and popular than I even anticipated.

It is a limited addition, after all. The highest serial number so far is 0804. That definitely sounds "limited". Good luck at ever finding one at MAP or even MSRP now!

No one knows and we may never know exactly how many were made. But I think its safe to assume less than 1000 total and around 800 after blems are taken out of the equation.

Either all knives have been distributed and some dealers aren't getting them, or folks are keeping their secret sources... secret.

I'm on the email list for two retailers that say they're supposed to get a few, but no notices. I fear the opportunity is over.
