ZT 0808 not a lock blade

Online every 0808 I find is a frame lock. Mine is not a lock blade at all but just has what I'd call a deep detent. Is this weird?

I'm not sure what you mean. What keeps it open, if not the frame lock?

If you have a truly non-locking ZT 0808, it's probably fake.

Thetes a deep detent that keeps it shut and open but it's not a lock. You dont unlock it. Best I can tell it's real. Just joined this forum can I post pics?

If it's fake than it's fake but someone went to a great deal of trouble. Titanium, d2, etching is perfect etc...

I'm fairly certain that ZT has never made a slipjoint 0808, sorry. There are counterfeit versions of it for sale that are slipjoints on the usual shady sites.

This is a fake double-detent version of the ZT 0808.

Looks exactly like that except double detent instead of frame lock which I thought was very weird. Turns out it's fake. Excellent knife really but fake

Does it look like this? This was sold by Aliexpress at some point, but it’s no longer available. Listed with D2 steel, and I don’t see anything that looks like a frame lock. I see it was at a few other places, now discontinued, but I have no idea about the reliability of any of those sites, so they could all be hawking fakes for all I know.
