I didnt buy it. It was left to me by a very dear friend who was an avid collector. I'm in to knives but not like he was. I just carry a civivi but he carried expensive knives

Does it look like this? This was sold by Aliexpress at some point, but it’s no longer available. Listed with D2 steel, and I don’t see anything that looks like a frame lock. I see it was at a few other places, now discontinued, but I have no idea about the reliability of any of those sites, so they could all be hawking fakes for all I know.

Those sites actually photoshop the locks out of folders because of some sort of legal issue. It's weird but that's what they do.

The 0808 is such a great, underrated knife. Same size and blade length as the famous 0450, but with a pointier tip, and more belly to allow the blade to get thinner BTE. Once you get used to that small flipper tab you’re golden
