ZT 0900 / Kwik thumb stud

Hello, I just ordered my zt(Zero Tolerance) and I was wondering if it's possible to put Kwik thumb stud on it since it's an ball bearings opening knife it would be a lot of fun to put a thumb stud on it. I just wanted to check to see if I should buy the thumb stud or not. If anyone has tried it please post a picture. Thank you and happy new year!

Is the detent that hard? Because on the original Les George ESV I believe it has a thumb stud but I don't know if the detent is the same or not

The detent is pretty strong when new. After a few hundred flips (in my case, at least) it smooths out nicely. Even so, I think a thumb stud would end up being just another way of flipping the knife. In other words, you'd apply pressure to the stud and the blade would fly open all the way once the detent was overcome. I don't think it would work as a controlled opening feature where you'd apply constant pressure to the stud until the blade is all the way open (if that makes sense). :thumbup:

edit: The strong detent is part of what makes this knife such a superb flipper.
