I believe you. However, I did not and still do not see a private message. Nor did I receive an email alert. I've only been using this new interface for a couple of weeks and I find it very confusing. I'm not good with the computer, but I'm getting some help this afternoon. Right now the only way I know if someone is interested in a knife I offer for sale is if I receive an email. I can't even find the original posting without paging through that forum, which is what I did after getting an email alert for your last message.

When I post a knife for sale (we're selling our whole collection because we need the money) I check the box that said send email. I did not receive an email alert for your post on the thread or the one after yours.

Now, looking at the posting I see that your offer came in first. I regret that I accept a later offer, even though it was the first one I saw. I would like to make this right, but am not sure how to do that. Suggestions?
