I regretted not getting one when they went out of stock, last night bladehq got some back in and I had a gift card to use, so ordered!

USA made, 20cv, carbon fiber, and 2.9 oz? Yes please!

This will be my first zt. I was never interested before in their designs, but this one got me.

I've hemmed and hawed on that one. Let us know how you like it.

It looks slicy and fun.
ZT has always impressed me with their build quality.
The models I like, I like a lot!

I‘d also love to hear your impressions!

Congrats on a new (inbound) knife!

Just checked out the ZT video about it and it looks pretty sweet. Huge knife for the weight which is always cool and interesting design in general (and not a bad price considering materials) - definitely post some pics and impressions when you get it!

Same here, then panic set in once it was out of stock, so I didn't wait this time and hit buy!

I will definately let you know.

Ok, got it, and I love it. So light, flawless fit and finish, action is smooth, and came with a great edge on it.

It is a small knife, you have to hold it well when using the flipper or it feels like you could drop it, but this is fine for me and feels like it's made for my hands. There is not a way to hold the knife that is not comfortable.

Compared to other lightweights:

Now, only ding, the detent ball channel shows well on the tang of flipper:

The 0990 is priced right imo, puts it in line for a summer edc perfection to me. This is my first zt, very pleased with it.

I just picked mine up a few days ago, and it’s really great. I was a bit concerned it would be more “form over function”, but in addition to looking cool, it’s really a very functional knife.

The fit and finish is terrific. It feels rock solid, the blade is well finished, and ergonomics are better than expected. It really feels good in the hand. It also carries very well with the light weight, and the good, well angled clip that makes it sit nice and flat on pocket entry.

The only minor “nit-pick” is that the flipper tab is quite short, and the detent is pretty strong, so it requires more deliberate pressure than other knives. It’s not terrible, mind you, but it definitely takes a little extra to deploy. That said, it deploys smoothly and strongly, with a very satisfying “thwack”.

It’s a great knife that looks like art, and functions like a good tool. I love it.

Is there a mechanical reason for the asymmetry of the scales?

As a bonus, if you turn the in house zt logo upside down, really close to Star Wars Rebels logo!!!

More like the old Quake logo... Lol

Nice knife! Haven't bought a ZT in a while, I prefer their thicker, heavier blades, but that is a very nice looking knife! Congrats!
