Zt 0990 inbound -update got it!

Dang... you made me look at it!
I suppose if one of those finds me: it would make for a nice cousin to my 0609 Martin...

It sure is a beauty: congratulations!

The only minor “nit-pick” is that the flipper tab is quite short, and the detent is pretty strong, so it requires more deliberate pressure than other knives. It’s not terrible, mind you, but it definitely takes a little extra to deploy. That said, it deploys smoothly and strongly, with a very satisfying “thwack”.
I always slightly flick my wrist when opening a ZT flipper.

I am sure it's a fine knife, just not my style. i already ordered a white river sendoro today; that's good for one day.

I have had one and the detent is so stiff, if I open it a few times my finger hurts like hell. I have been thinking about sending in to ZT and see if they can adjust the detent.

I'm sure the quality of this knife is great as it is a ZT. However, it is not my style - way too busy with an odd hole in the blade and multiple pieces forming the handle.

Have you tried light switch instead of pushing the flipper?

That weird pivot arm thingie attached to the flipper tab , at the top of the knife ?

Functional improvement or styling ?

It only seems noticeable when you have the blade partially open )(or closed...)
It's a stylish way of figuring out how to make things work.
