ZT 200 -- A thinner alternative same price?

You will smooth the grips and lose the grippiness, but you will end up with a wood grain look that looks really nice. Just make sure you have a flat surface to do your sanding on, and a sanding block would be handy. You will have high spots, middle, and each end that will should be taken down first. Just measure it, sand, measure, sand, until you get where you want it.

As dano said.....DO NOT BREATHE THIS STUFF!! Use a respirator, and have a spry bottle of water that you can use to wet this stuff down as you go, keeping it from getting on everything.

Thanks for the comparison pics. Is the Emerson the CQC 13? A little thinner than the ZT 0200??

All of these are thinner than the ZT0200. The Bump is the closest thing to a thin 0200, if you like the lock.
Composite JYD2 is great choice too.

I sanded the handles down on my mind (100 grit to 2000) and it looks and feels like a whole different knife. Not only do you end up with a slimmer profile, but it looks fantastic.
