ZT 2018 LINEUP

The 0609 looks like a great EDC, nice and thin. Am a big fan of bronze Ti.

Will need to have a closer look at the clip, not too compelling in the KSF video. Looks like it has branding on it, and with the bronze could be tough to match the color aftermarket.

So I basically get all three wishes? Wow. The only bummer is the blade lengths, would have been nice if there had been enough steel for an extra .25 on each of them. Hey, I even got the name on the 0462 right. 0393 and 0462 for me. The 0609 is a strong maybe. All in all:

Don’t like the clip at all, that’ll have to get changed out if I buy one...if. Not gonna lie I’m a bit disappointed in the ZTs and Kershaws for 2018. Hopefully ZT will release more than 3 new models.
 
The ZTs this year are boring.

The Kershaw Copper Natrix with D2 steel is the winner this year.
Maybe the bareknuckle too, but that's it. Nothing else.

Where is the bareknuckle? Is it a Kershaw?

I see on the large 462 they still have the body screws threading directly into the titanium side... what is up with that? Why not use Chicago screws which work so much better? They do on the 0452.

I feel the exact same way. The 0462 for sure, and the 0393 is a strong maybe. I’ll pass on the 0609. I’m not a fan of the clips on the 0462 so I’ll 100% be switching that out.
 
I dunno, I think the full belly on the 462 will take full advantage of the high carbide content of 20CV, and be an awesome daily slicer. Great for a backup to a tougher fixed blade.

I think I might be in.
I wanted a 460, but it was a bit on the small side for me, so this squares that away.
 
0609 is a definate “maybe” for me. I’ll have to get one in hand first. I think there’s real potential there, but a knife that size will hopefully be light in hand (& pocket). Hopefully it’s a tasteful bronze.

If that doesn’t work for me, as promised several pages back, I’ll finally get the 0452 I’ve been longing for. I can’t loose!
 
ZT's strongest contender for my money is the 0462 but it's not a "must have." More of a "who knows, maybe."
