ZT 300 in your pocket

I definitely will contact him. He has great prices and I always try to show my patronage to people who are kind enough to share their knowledge with others, and he certain seems willing to offer insight around here as often as possible. I'm feel pretty confident that I don't deserve any special breaks or deals (I'm a perpetual student who happens to love quality gear, not law enforcement, military, or a first responder), but it certainly seems advisable to contact the man who knows his products and see what he recommends!

I'm now rethinking ordering a blem versus saving a bit longer and purchasing a non blem. I'm a knife fan, but when I pick one it stays with me for long periods usually, and they get carried every day. I know the ZT knives are overbuild and I feel pretty safe with a blem, but instinctively I love warranties. I mean I love costa del mar sunglasses and I have complete faith in their products, but it doesn't mean I've never sent any in for warranty work either. Any thoughts one way or another are certainly welcome- I have some time either way, but its definitely something to think about.

Here's my ZT0301 in...

Good choice. I liked my zt0301 so much I ordered a zt0300 to go with it.

I carry tip down RFP. I have no problem with it being too big in my pocket.

I think I'll probably carry tip down LFP/LBP depending on the pants. I'm pretty siked to finally get one in my hands.

Ive had no issues carrying mine at all. This clip they use was perfect, I dont know why they went away from it (too much tmp influence -_- ). As for the knife, its chunky, but its good. Dont worry about the 8 oz weight, it doesnt feel heavy in the pocket at all. Ive carried it in jeans, cargo shorts and pants and its good wherever. You wont regret buying this knife. Theres always rumors about it being discontinued, but I havent seen it yet. Imo its too good a knife to discontinue.

I have the 200 and the 350 as blems. Nothing wrong with them. The likelihood of my ever sending any knife back to a manufacturer for repair or warranty is zero.

The 200 is a manual opening. If you are not in a hurry, as I am not, I prefer it for its beefiness. If speed is critical to you, then the assisted opening 350 is the way to go.

If speed is critical and you don't want something as beefy as either knife, (at about $90 each) then a blem Kershaw 1670 for about $30 may suffice.

The only problem I ran into with my 0301 is that my work pants are khakis and the weaker material would sag and fold under the weight rather than hold it up like jeans will.
