ZT 300 vs 350

Kershawguy is out completely of the ZTs, via his PM yesterday evening. Now that I can't have one I am REALLY wanting one. Dang it, Oh the HUMANITY ! ! !

Thanks for the correction. I was thinking they'd be available after Blade.
 
What about the 200 ?
IMO it's the best ZT , especially in terms of value for the money .
I don't have the 300 (too expensive for me) , but I do have the 350 and 200st , and the 200 is on another level .

The 0200 is a fantastic value. Size, steel, 3D G-10 handle, beefy liner lock, fit/finish, and flipper are all top notch. I don't think you could find a better value.

The 0300 blems are definitely worth a look if you want to try one, but the 0200 is an equally great folder in that size range.
 
Not sure why, but for a long time I was really digging the 400. Then I thought about when the time care to sharpen, and that tanto/recurve did not seem friendly. I'd like a 200 too, but I really want to try one of the beefier ones first. The 350/300 seems like my focus at the moment. ;)
 
I'd like to thank beeftips. I saved him from throwing some money at a knife this evening (ZT350 no less).

Thanks RevDevil. Great snag on the 350. I would suggest looking for a 500 next. They are discontinued but there are still some available out there.
 
That is the Mudd right? I saw a guy posted his impressions on it, and it looks like a beast. I'll keep my eyes open for one, but if you happens to see one then...well you know where to find meh.

The 0200 is very close to the 0300 series in "beefiness", much more robust than the 0350.

IMHO the 0200 is the ZT to start with, a good solid entry knife and it will hook you for all the rest.
 
I'll end up collecting a few more, including the 200. I'm just getting warmed up :)

well yes for me, but then I don't carry very many knives that I own, I own them because of the awesome, and cool factor. The 0200 is a very well designed knife and should not be overlooked in the ZT lineup. I carry a small knife ( titanium leek) because I don't like or need anything big in my pockets, and it does everything I need an EDC to do.

This thread has made me want badly ZT 300/301/302. I am not sure if I really have use for that but I want it... ZT 30x would make nice forrest combo with small/medium Busse and axe
 
I've got a 302, a 500, and a 200 (and I've owned 2 350s). I love them all, but the 200 is so damn awesome. It's my favorite folding knife (out of my BMs, Spydies, Al Mars, striders, chris reeves, etc.).

Personally, I like it better than the 300 and the 350 b/c it's pointier. If you adjust the pivot right, it opens as quickly as the AOs. Man, it's just a work of art. It is too big for me to carry every day though. Can't wait for that new one.
 
I'll be bugging you Dave every week until I get a new ZT 0300!

After that I'll start bugging you for the ZT 0550 :D

For the best bang for the buck a ZT blem is the way to go. My 0301 is a blem and the only thing wrong is the word "Speedsafe" isn't printed on the blade.
