ZT 350 blues

Does not seem fair you are throwing the ZT under the bus when you went cheap and bought an old beat up user.

I think the 350 is one of the best EDC knives made. I have had mine for 5 years and no problems.

Tested CS from KAI on other older Kershaws and they have always been spot on! My suggestion is buy new and then judge the knife!

Im confused.
How did I throw the ZT under the BUS.
I stated a fact and posted a pic and other chimed in saying
it happens.

Buy a new knife...WTF..WHY.

There was no Bubba Dremil work on the blade.

Just a lack of maintenance and a gorilla behind a driver tightning screws.

If you read some of my responses to this thread you would of read.

It is a user.

Scale screws. 2 were stripped along with the clip screws.

KIA sent out the needed replacement parts and I did the rest.

As far as old Im sure it is and it was just normal metal
fatique
.

The 350's design had me luke warm to it.
That is why I wanted a user. Cheap.
IF I dont like it no big loss.
But parts breaking does not help when Im deciding
if a 350 should be in my pocket.

But I said the breakage was
most likely metal fatigue. Springs do that.

I didn't know that they had detents now. That may actually goad me into getting a ZT. The 03xx are really the only production models of theirs that appeal to me but AO is a definite deal breaker. If I can de-assist it though...

It's a pretty easy job, there are a few guys on here that could do it. I'd shoot CharlieMike a PM, he waved a 350 for me and that required de-assisting it.

By the way, I requested a torsion bar for 0350 and it arrived in 7 business days. If you request too many parts they automatically send you an email to send the knife in.

I used the ZT Knives Contact page with the Warranty Service/Parts option, clicked on the desired part, entered a knife model and mailing address.

HOW LONG DOES THE SPEED-SAFE TORSION BAR LAST?
We test our torsion bar to 10,000 openings. However, at some point, the torsion bar may need to be replaced. We will gladly do this at our facility free of charge. See Warranty at the bottom of this page for information on this service.

The torsion bar came in. Easy fix.
But I wish it had a detent.

Torsion bar breaks. No problem.

I really wish other companies we'd this easy to deal with.

Thank you KAI.
