I don't understand the problem - those are both hex shaped, but the corners have been radiused. If the hex head doesn't spin in the hole, nothing is wrong.

I sounds like Mauser ended up with a round headed bolt in a hex shaped hole. Warranty department will get this taken care of. Please let me know if they don't, and I will run it down for you.

I called CS and they are sending a hex shaped bolt instead of the round one.

It definitely was a round one. I took it out far enough to see that it was round.
