ZT 560 thoughts?

I just got mine back from the warranty dept. at KAI yesterday... issue with the clip screws stripping out, now it is like new, and clip is installed permanently for tip-up, LH carry:) I would highly recommend this knife, it is built to last and KAI has excellent customer service. I also recommend contacting Kershawguy, failing that check Feebay. My .02.
 
This is the knife design that got me started on my downward spiral of selling everything else, it ticks every box on my list of desirable traits.
 
Alright my buddy has a contego which is near my upper limit but still doable. Push comes to shove ill use the rift as my day edc and save the 560 for my night/weekends edc, and hiking folder. Thanks for all the info :)
 
That's another thing that makes the 560 appealing, I'm a leftie and I can't tell you how many nice knives I've passed up because they're geared only towards right handed people. Ambidextrous opening and clip is a must.

The Contego and 560 are close in length to each other. But the 560 is a little thicker and is wider throughout its length.

Sonny got your email. I have a financial obligation that'll be tying up my money for the next couple weeks, but after that ill keep my eyes peeled both here and the web. Sounds like $210 give or take $10 is a fair price. Thanks for the heads up.
 
A 560 and a Rift. Talk about a pair of knives! I am going to get another 561 when I can afford it.
 
I like your style razor :). The rift was the first knife I ever saved up money to order and it will always have a place in my pocket, however it's time for some new blood and the 560/561 seems to fit the bill.
 
I just bought one this past weekend and I love it its an awesome knife and I would buy it again but it just reinforces my idea of getting a XM-24 now the saving and working extra hours begin again.
 
Fantastic knife!! I have a 561 in my hand as I type.

Every once in a while, Howe's knife will run a special. Bought mine a couple of weeks ago for $178.00 including shipping. This is my first knife in "Elmax" steel.

Love it, could not be happier.
 
Just an update: the 560 is ordered and expected to arrive at 8pm tomorrow. I rode my bike for 2 months and did every job possible under the sun to earn the money and I must say I couldn't be any more excited if I was a 5 yr old and tomorrow was Xmas day :). Once again thanks to everyone who contributed their thoughts, tips and insight.
