I can honestly say that I do prefer the Ti pocket clips that are on the 0560 series..My opinion is a Ti pocket clip similar to the one on the 0560BW model would do the 0801CF justice.I just don't prefer painted pocket clips.Nice collection and you must have a few bucks tied up in your arsenal...

That's a very nice collection! 0888, 0801CF, and a Volt in that one pic... Very impressive. And to answer your question: Yes, the 0801CF is definitely a worthy addition to its brethren.

I believe the 0560 series clips are stainless steel, not titanium. I just stuck a magnet to mine, so I know that one, at least, is steel.

first off....im gonna need that 3600 please;-)

Regarding fit in the KAI LE Lineups. I think it is equal to many and exceeds a few ...depending on which aspects of a knife you value most (though not much will hold a candle to the 888). I really like the size....that alone may kick the CBCF outta my pocket on days I need the extra real estate. F&F is astounding, as would be expected. I really love the PVD coating as well....interested to see how it wears in over time compared to DLC and other finishes.

The 0888 and the 0801CF are simply gorgeous. In my simple-minded opinion, the 0801 is my number one choice of ZT models and the 0888 is my number two.

I am very envious of you sir.....................................................

Most definitely worthy, that sir, is a fine collection of ZT's
Here's the only issue I have with them. I consider the 550/560's to be working knives, your collection on the other hand is simply a work of art and beauty and I would never use those knives for anything other than eye candy. I have a hard time using my 0801 because it is such a fine knife, couldn't imagine having the CF model and using it. They definitely are the WOW factor

I gotta say, the 801CF sure is purdy...

Only thing holding it back is that hideous clip. It wouldn't have killed them to do a Ti clip that watched the handle just for the 801CF.

Also, yes, the 560 uses a steel clip. Almost no production knives use a Ti clip, sadly.

I was actually thinking the same thing. A Ti clip would have made this a Home Run! I am sure someone will be making them though. It's just a matter of how long it will take lol.

Im sorry but I agree, Skeltons a know it all just like that other fancy guy

I happen to like Jim and Nutnfancy. Regardless, let's stick to the topic at hand. No need to only interject with pointless comments about how you dislike someone. It's a bit childish and a bit rude.

Really? I don't see it. Different opinions of course but hideous?

What advantage does a Ti clip have over the steel clip in this situation? I actually like the clip and think it matches the knife. KAI has been known for Klingon crazy clips in the past, I'll take this one. Sure, they could have PVD'd either a Ti or a steel clip but it looks good in black, perhaps if it was oxidized/PVD'd in black instead of painted would have been better but to me the clip is a complete non issue. "Ooooh titanium clip, watch out!" LOL.

Clip? My clips always wind up scarred, pitted, and beat to death where they've been dragged across the ground, dropped, used, caught on corners, etc. etc

Wow, look., my once pretty TI clip now looks like arse:rolleyes:

I like the way the clip looks on this one, seems to fit the look they were going for..

I dont know if it goes in the same category as the Volt or Tilt but its definitely a great looking knife and worthy of being with the greats from Kershaw/ZT. I really liked how my regular 801 flipped and Im sure this one is just as good.

I do think they could have used a better clip, not because I dislike it, but because thats the same clip thats on my $20 Cryo.

Now that 888, that thing is amazing.

Is this knife worthy ?

Well it definitely has the esthetic cool factor and as far as a flipper goes it has a action that is second to none.

Blade shape is cool, and I like almost anything constructed of Titanium and Carbon Fiber.

The clip doesn't bother me.

Ergos are not great for me.

It could use some traction on the blade.

It's a little on the small side for my hand and I prefer more blade.

I would call it more of a "dress" knife.

I would take a 560 to work first.

I am looking forward to the 562CF.

The 888 and 777 and Tilt are dream pieces most folks will never have the money for. The Volt 3600 and Speedform 3500 are a step down from the 888, 777 but are much rarer but can be had for 375-575 a piece. The 560CBCF, 801CF are great improvements on already great knives but being so recent I just cant justify the secondary market prices for them. I personally believe the 801CF to be above the 560CBCF as it is already one of the best flippers ever made so yes. Add to that a slab of M390 blade steel and that becomes yes please...

So whats the list look like?

0888 Max
0888
0777 Original
Volt 3600
Kershaw Tilt
0777 M390
Speedform 3500
0600
0801CF
0560CBCF
1850 Tyrade

Probably forgetting some
