ZT curious - what is similar in size to a PM2 or military?

I like how the 0450 looks but I can't tell how big it is. I like how the PM2 and military carry in the pocket with deep carry clips and I prefer folders in this size and blade length range. I'm worried the 0450 will be too small and the 0452 would be too big. Any thoughts?

I thought the same thing. I thought 0450 would be too small etc. But I own a PM2 and I recently bought an 0450CF and it fits my hand just fine, I really enjoy it. I wear large size gloves just fyi

ZT 0562 and ZT 0801 have about the same overall length and blade length as PM2, though they are much heavier.

Here is a great video that does a good job of comparing the ZT0452 and Military. I own both knives and prefer to carry the ZT. Mainly because it is a little bit thinner in the pocket, the ball bearings are a joy to use, and the clip is tip up. However I still carry my Military, just not as often as the ZT0452.

0452CF is a good substitute for Military. It's a little longer and weighs slightly more but narrower in width. Very pocket friendly. There's a 0452G10 Sprint Run out right now with premium M390 steel.

ZT0350 is quite close to PM 2

I would say 0095/0350/0562/0909 would be similar from the ones I own.
The 0450 has a significantly smaller footprint.

I love both of those knives, but the cutting edge length is where the similarities end. The pm2 is a handful on the grip. The 0450 is light, thin, and slender. Both amazing, but oh so different.

As already been mentioned, the 562cf and 801 are good options. It's really hard to beat the 801 for grip comfort. I think my 562 rides a bit easier in the pocket. Most ZT's will have more cutting edge over any knife with a blade finger choil.

The 452cf actually rides in pocket like a much smaller knife, because of it's narrow design. Another amazing design and knife, but does raise eyebrows when opened in front of non knife people. Since I don't usually worry about what others think, it is fun to watch facial expressions when it comes out ( but always respectful of laws, safety, and personal property).

A couple more options with similar blade lengths, but very different grips. My personal favorite carry right now (although I change often), is the ZT0456. It is a real mitt-full, and feels just as solid. The other is the 0770CF. A little more to grip than the 0450, but super thin and light.

I am looking at getting the 0562 and 0452, great knives from what I can tell. Saw an 0452 for $130 on Ebay from a legit seller, wish I had the funds to purchase it at the time, but alas, I did not.

I totally agree with this. The 456 is probably going to be too much weight for you if that is something that you want to keep lower but it is an awesome knife. The 770CF is a really good fit for what you are looking for. When we get this type of question in the shop most end up going with the 562CF once they get their hands on all of them.

ZT 0450, 0456, 0350 and 0566 all have blade lengths of 3.25" and except for 0450 they're much heavier than Military or ParaMilitary2 with blade lengths of 4" and 3.44" respectively. You have to ask yourself if weight matters in which case for blade lengths you desire probably only 0452CF will do.

I was out of town the other day stopped to look at knives not going to buy and walked out with a 0095BW.Haven't carried anything but my M4 or 110 Paramilitary in quite a while.A lot of the ZT's kinda have thick blades that seem chunky to me but the 0095BW had close to a FFG I really like the belly and general shape of the blade as well.
