I like to give credit where it’s due, and ZT’s warranty department definitely deserves a shout out.

I sent in an 0620 with a really late lockup, stripped pivot, stripped thumb disk hole, a stripped body screw, and a botched edge.

They sent it back with a new lockbar insert (35% vs about 85%), new pivot, fixed thumb disk hole and new thumb disk, new body screw, and a perfect edge. If it weren’t for the couple scratches in the blade coating I’d think it was new!

Total turnaround time was 2 weeks. That’s including shipping there and back. All I paid was $7. Way to go ZT!!!

Did you put that poor thing through a meat grinder?????
😂😂😂

Good to know. Appreciate the info. You always wonder about out of production stuff especially how warranty/repair issues might get handled

I went to change out the thumb disk and tighten the pivot and both were stripped already. I would up taking it completely apart thinking about swapping the scale and that’s how it wound up.

I work on knives and guns all the time and it’s damn rare when I strip anything. I mean maybe one every 15-20 years. No way did I strip two things on the same knife at the same time. They were like that when I bought it and gooed together with some kind of heavy white loctite shit.

Blade looked like it had been sharpened on a worksharp or something (not by me). Lost that point on the blade intersection and edge just looked “wonky”.

I got the knife cheap, and ZT made it right, so I’m not complaining.
