ZT Galyean 0610ST Auto - 2nd try

Thomas posted somewhere (I think the New Items Thread) that -

The G&G hawk designed 0650st will be $190.

The Tim Galyean designed 0610st will be $175.

Looks like another win for ZT. I don't like the autos, but the market does, and there are plenty other options for me!

I'd like to find a local distributer that carries ZT knives so I could check it (and all of them) out in person. Looks like a great duty knife!

I was acctually asking if those prices were the retail prices, or about what there going to be going for.

Those prices are MSRP, or retail, waffle. We don't really know "street" prices yet, since they haven't really hit the street yet!:D

But we'll keep ya posted;)

Sorry, that's what I meant.

Since it's the ZT line, I imagine they will or can have the normal 20% discount.
At $140 and $152, those are very good prices for a Made In USA auto of such materials.
Heck, that's a good price for a non-auto.

I am very impressed with the new ZT ....i have been beating the hell out of one for two days and it performs tasks like cutting rope and nylon webbing, piercing metal drums and cutting tree branches with ease.

compared to the ZT200 this knife is VERY slim and the ergo's are exellent.

It fires like a rocket...so hold on.

The safety is a great feature for pocket carry and is placed well.

The clip has the option of tip up or down carry.

Remember guys that the ZT line was created for LE and Mil. use....so although some may not like the estetics of the blade profile, it's was designed to perform hard use tasks and not to look pretty.

Piercing metal drums?!? wow

Thanks for the pics and info Bigmark!

Where did you purchase it?

If in the US the purchase of Autos is restricted, then what about other countries? Could (just thinking) someone from another country who isn't a leo or something-like-that purchase one?

By the way, really nice knife and like the weight and the Aluminium handles. I wonder how strong is this type of lock?
