Ok, I think im gonna get one of these three knives, but idk which.

The 0200 and 0350 are a little over $100. The 0200 has a 154cm blade but what looks to be a more comfortable handle, while the 0350 has s30v steel but a lesser comfortable handle(thats what it looks like to me).

The 0300 is obviously the best one, with an s30v blade and a more comfortable handle(the same looking kind on the 0200. But with g-10 and titanium). The only problem is the price tag, which is over $200.

What I ask now is a couple general questions:
Which should I get if I buy the cheaper two, the 0350 or 0200?
Should I just pony up the cash and get the 0300?
What are your general oponions and thoughts on any of these knives?
And, what are some similar kinves to these(reliable, strong, and sexy(lol))?

Oh and ps heres links to the knives for whoever doesnt know about these:

My first ZT was the Knifeworks satin bead blast 0350, followed by a 0200 from kershawguy here in the Exchange, and then a 0300 from him and a 0301 blem that was a gift. Here they are in numerical order ;):

I you want to save money, check out the blems that kershawguy has for sale in the Exchange. These are factory 2nds that usually have only minor cosmetic flaws and an "XXXX" stamped on the blade. My 0301 is a blem and I can't find anything with it.

No complaints about the 300 (301 for me) here. It's an awesome knife. The 200 would be my second choice.

You can't go wrong with any of them. The 0350 is easiest to carry and has a snappy AO. The 0200 fits very well in my hand and for those that don't like AO, it has only a manual flipper.

Biggest bang for the buck, I would say is the 0200, especially if you are able to snag a blem from kershawguy. If not, and you buy new, I still say the 0200 is the most knife for the dollar from ZT. A very tough, big, well built folder.

But the standard BFC reply is : Buy them all!

I would buy the 300 series used on the forums here. I bought mine for $160 and all it really needed was 10 minutes of sharpening. They regularly go for under $180.

The 0200 is a great knife and probably the most underrated of those three, I really liked mine good knife through and through.

aghhh idk what to get, most of you say either the 300, or 200 lol, idk. I want to buy new though, just so I know its not been messed with too much

I have a 200 and a 350cb. They both feel good in the hand. The 300 is on the list of knives to buy. You can get a 300 from ebay for under 200. Also email Kershawguy for a good price.

I have a 0300 TAD Edition and I don't like it much, too heavy, the knife is loud when it opens, maybe authoritative is a better description, it's better than a Strider for fit and finish but somehow I have never warmed up to mine.

This really is a size issue. The 0350 carries the best, smaller, lighter, and thinner. If you are looking for an EDC for Self Defense this is the one! I absolutely love mine for this purpose! Plus the speedsafe makes it more practical for SD. Amazing all-around! The S30V is a nice steel. You will hate it at first until you put a great edge on it and it takes forever to dull it! 154cm is easy to sharpen but will dull faster than S30V. S30V is a little hard to sharpen and with the recurve design somewhat of a obstacle if you dont have the right sharpener. All these ZT have that recurve design blade which is my only hang up with them. The others all have more comfortable handles on them, not that the 0350 isnt comfortable...I find it very comfortable! I like the 300 but it is too big and heavy for me to carry very well.

just got the 350. i like it almost as much as my manix (classic, not manix2)

Chinikaylo,

What are you going to be using the knife for, what size are your hands, and what type of attire do you usually head out with, (Also has to do with where you live and what type of use your knives usually see).

I've EDC'ed all three at one point or another, and the 0350 is the most EDC-able, being the lightest and flatest, and more "normally" sized.

The 0200 has the most comfortable handle of them all, it also sports the longest blade of them all, and the blade is slightly thinner than the 0300.

The 0300 is the brute-king of them all (All ZT's can take a severe punishing) and can take anything you dish at it. It's big and heavy but it carries well.

Good luck with your decision and let us know what you get?

Also, do check out kershawguy's blem thread in the for sale by dealers.

Speaking of the Kershaw factory blems Dave offers... These are mainly cosmetic issues: a tiny spot in the DLC coating, a scratch in the handle. I have heard that there might have a grind issue, tho I have never experienced this. In all of the blems I have bought, I think I found one that could be identified, and I've bought knives from other manufacturers with this same or even more exaggerated flaw. As for the warranty, there is none, but if you need new screws, clip, scales or torsion bar for the AO models (anything but the blade for example), a phone call will have these (and most likely multiples of them along with a small torx tool) on their way to you for free. No $5, no postage, nothing. Believe me when I say this is the best deal out there on ZT knives, bar none.

Hopefully Dave will stop by and explain this in greater detail.

My first (and at the moment the only) ZT is the 0350 Elmax composite blade. It's very light and very suitable for EDC.

I know how you feel. Some guys want the guarantee from Kershaw etc.. If you notice, in Kershawguy's sales thread it says "I will not be undersold." I took him up on that and scoured the web for the best price on my ZT 0301 and submitted it to him. He beat the price easily and sealed the deal. I've bought his blems and they're a real bargain, but for my 0301 I wanted a brand new knife. It's awesome!

The 0350 handles are too small for me and the 0300 and 0200 are too heavy for me. I carry the 0400 in my EDC rotation....it's the only current ZT folder that will work for me...but when my 0551 arrives....
