ZT knives(0300,0350, and 0200)

I was in a similar dilema but it was between the 200 and the 300 since the 350 was not out at the time. I went with the 300 since it was in my mind already that I wanted it and and the 200 would have only been a substitute for it. The 300 was everyting I imagined it would be and more. As a matter of fact, I was giggling like a schoolgirl when the package came and I opened it. I may eventually get the 200 though, as well as the 350. But the 300 has satiated my desire for a ZT.

The 300 series is ZT's flagship model at this point in time. It would be difficult to find a better built, sturdier knife at it price point. But it's huge. You can say the same for the 200 but it's even bigger. If you like a big knife and are a value buyer...200 should be your first choice.

The 350 is great if size is an issue. Other options is the Junkyard Dog (Kershaw) or waiting for the new 500 series which is a Rick Hinderer collaberation with ZT.

Personally, out of the three you've mentioned and the JYD; I like the JYD best for everyday carry. I own all four and will be getting a 551 which I have grand expectations. Anyway, you'll almost certainly like any one of these you finially settle on. They are quality knives.

I've owned 2 30x's, 2 200's and 2 350's. I currenly only own one 200 and it's my favorite knife. I absolutely love this knife. The ergos fit much better in my hand than the 300 and I like the blade shape a lot more. Some people don't like the recurve, but it doesn't bother me at all. I thought the 300 was too wide (blade and handle). They're all extremely tough knives. I would think that your feelings on the speedsafe might impact your decision. The 200 doesn't have the speedsafe, but can be adjusted so it flies open extremely smooth and fast. Personally, I like the 200 NOT having speedsafe.

I would get the 0350 for a comfortable & strong EDC. It is slimmer in the pocket and the scales don't tear into your hand or pants as much the 200/300.
I have both the 0350 and 200, but I really only carry the 0350.

The 0200 is so inexpensive for what you get that you will probably end up with it sooner or later. I say sooner!:) I can't throw any more accolades that have already been thrown out, and I really can't remember reading anything negative about the knife. It is just a good solid and heavy duty folder that will get the job done while looking as sexy as a supermodel.:D

On the other hand, the 0300/0350 look more like Rosie O'Donnell, wide and tubby!:). With that aside, both the 0300 and 0350 are superb knives. The Speed Safe really gets both blades opened fast, and it is hard to beat S30V as done by Kershaw. Without a doubt, if the 0350 had retained the thicker blade of the 0300 or even the 0200, I would have a couple of them. But I could never come to grips with the 0300 as I simply don't like two different handle materials on the same knife. I never have and I suspect I never will.

Thanks everyone with the help, I have decided on the 0200. I just ordered it from knifecenter.com and am really excited. I will post about it when i get it. Again, thanks a bunch guys!

I have owned the 0350 (both the DLC black blade version and the Elmax Composite blade version), 0300, and the 0302. All are GREAT knives. Today I bought a new 0200ST (partially serrated) from Blade HQ (I can actually go to their store because I live in the area). HANDS DOWN it is my personal favorite of the ZT line. Size, strength, build quality, and ergonomics are PERFECT! I'm sure you will be just as pleased with yours.
