ZT LE Direct Orders Are Back!

I handled these at Blade, but I'm just not feeling these prices. None of them really screamed "OMG YOU NEED THIS" so I'll be passing on these. Which is fine, of course. More for those who want them (and the scalpers).
 
I own plenty of ZTs, but I have to say the 0999 is easily the ugliest of their flagship knives. Looks way too much like a Microtech wannabe. None of the other LEs interest me.

I can tell you that when holding it, I was concerned that those carbon fiber panels might pop off, to include the one that's inset in the blade (for some reason). It just didn't feel reassuringly strong to me.
 
I keep trying to sign up but all I get is an invalid addresses prompt. Oh well, guess it's a sign. I was luck enough to get an 0801 copperhead and a 0392 bronze. Like them both, especially the 0392 which has great flipping action.

None of these new LE offerings do it for me, especially at Zt's price points. I wonder at these prices if buyers who wish to flip these knives will make any profit.

Had the same problem hence my post.Some kind of error code.About 20 min later a verification email was recieved.The LE are getting so expensive that the average ZT owner might not be able to afford one. I don't remember the retail prices being so astronical when dealers sold them for much less. I recon ZT is listening and noticed that people will chase the prices of the LE's.
 
I may have to sell my other ZTs, but I do like the looks of the 0999. As they say nothing will be available until 2016, I should have enough time to save up. More than double the most expensive knives I own, to date, with the exception of a William Henry.
 
Excuse the ignorance, but what makes certain knives LE only. It seems like a lot of the ones here aren't automatic (but from what I understand, even if they were, some states/locales still allow them) and quite frankly, I don't see how ANY knife company selling what is essentially a sharpened piece of metal is helping business along by restricting sales of their sharpened pieces of metal. It's not like they're selling nukes or something that governments all over would bring the hammer down on you for for selling.

Or is this somewhat like firearms where seemingly random features to the uninitiated/unknowing make firearms NFA items?
 
$450 for the 392 wc. Seriously. That ugly 2 tone adds $50 on top of the 392 bwbrz. Or is it the tiny steel flame copper filler tab adding the $50 to the price. And the stand offs are just black. Not color ano.

And the the 606cf is 3 differnt colors. Seriously.

Get the blade color same as handle. They did it with the 801cf's
 
I kind of want the 606 but aesthetically it is unappealing to me because of the tricolor, and I'm worried that if I don't jump on it they won't make non le version. Has zt ever not reproduced le models in more basic configurations?
 
I think ZT has finally jumped the shark at least as far as LE's go. There all to wild looking and expensive for me. The only one I had the slightest intrest in the 0095 and they sell them all to the Russians! WTH!

Yeah. They'd have been better off doing a rerun of the 0777 or 0888.

I wish people would stop chugging the ZT limited edition koolaid. I like their knives but scalping your own production knives is lame. I only see a few of their knives being worthy of a "limited edition" status and they're still way overpriced.
 
Looks like I was able to set up an account. The 0606CF does look kind of cool but I really wish they would make more 0392BWBRZ.
