Yes.. I had to cut the excess off.. Or it wont slide in all the way.. I dropped the clip to be flush with the handle .. The new hole is literally a mm from the original hole...

Mmmmmm, mmm! Kreined goodness! By any chance do you have an edge shot? I'd like to see how much he took off.

I know he took it down to .015 and then put a convex edge on it. Yeah, it is stupid sharp and quite strong still.

.015 and convexed sounds like a good combination. It should still have excellent edge strength and be easy to keep sharp.
 
It is still my dedicated rough use knife. I use it own or twice a week and have yet to have a need for sharpening. I HIGHLY reccomend this treatment if you send one of these to Tom. :thumbup:
