Nice. What kind of angle did you put on the edge?

18 degrees per side with a very, very tiny micro bevel of 20 degrees per side.

Ohmura 150

Shapton GS 500/1k/2k/4k/8k/16k/30/ spritzed with diamond spray

Leather strop with 0.1µ diamond approx 300-500 passes per side.

I figured I would stop by and say "awesome edge!" and tell you that you inspired me to whip out my retired Lansky and put a 2000grit edge on my SnG. I wish I had the supplies to achieve a bright, mirror finish.

Nice edge but I'm thinking white steel is easier to polish than S110V.

I was an avid Lansky user many moons ago - just could not justify the price of an EP Pro - eventually took the plunge and over the years have collected & collected etc....
