I'm going to try and keep this simple, even though I know it will turn into a clusterƭƱƆĶ - but let's just all do our best. In order to ensure everyone knows what's going on, you MUST post an unequivocal "I'll take XXX" in this thread; not all users have PM's and I'd like to keep this as fair as possible. If you have questions about something, POST HERE FIRST - time stamps will rule. These are NOT listed elsewhere - BF users rock and, basically, I can't manage multiple listings (yay, ADD). I'm not even sure if I can manage ONE, so please be patient. If you've posted your intent here, that's what imma go by.
The rules:
1: All prices include fees and shipping - I don't believe in trying to cheat the mechanisms of moving cash that benefit me and most of you - the fees are a small price to pay (see what I did there?) for me being able to take your credit card, essentially. If you don't have PP, you can contact me about some other arrangement, but I reserve the right to not be amenable. Such is life.
2: Multiple purchases will subtract $5 per any knife over one. Postage ain't all that cheap anymore, so if I can put 3 blades in a single flat rate box, I'll pass that savings along. I'm building in a little postage hit in the pricing anyway, so:
3: Please NO OFFERS. I am not really interested in trades; as you'll see upon reading further, most of these aren't in the $$ category of being tradeworthy - and my tastes have veered frighteningly towards things I can't afford. I've tried like hell to price these to sell - and I'm incapable of managing multiple incoming trade offers and questions. If the price of something is out of line, it won't sell - and I'll reconsider and repost. Don't be offended when I ignore your offer - you've been forewarned.
Note: Most of these are users, I have tried to note whether there are boxes and such, but....I'm not a collector, per se - so unless the description specifically states "new", I probably cut some stuff with it or someone else did - or I don't know and you can make your own assumptions. Most are in pretty good, if not excellent, condition. Not gonna take any more pictures, especially for the lower end stuff. I believe in being truthful, mostly because not being so involves the sort of mental juggling and sociopathy that I know for sure will get me in trouble. I've tried to make the descriptions as accurate as possible, but I am not responsible for the omission of details I may have forgotten due to CRS. Seriously, tho, if there's something "off" I'll note it. Like I said before, 93.78639% of these are users or have been used. Which is OK, if you, too, are buying something for it's intended porpoise - cutting stuff that needs cutting.
*** Hopefully you've read all of the above blah, blah, blah. Devil's in the details. My email is available in the drop-down on my user name, and is also my PP addy - DO NOT send me funds until confirmation, por favor. Be aware that if you PM me, I may not answer right away - email: bailey15stones@gmail.com is the most efficient and reliable way to reach me. You are welcome to post in this thread a contingency statement - i.e. "I'll take XX pending an answer to my question" if you wish to ensure primacy - but make sure your question hasn't been answered in the extremely verbose preamble, otherwise my response will be something along the lines of "please re-read the sales thread to answer your (expletive deleted) question".
Sorry 'bout that - on with it:
1: BrousBlades Caliber in G10, #105/300. Lockup is a tad sticky at ~40% and action a little stiff from not being broken in (I have a few other BB's; they seem to get better with use, in my experience). Ever so slightly off center towards the liner lock; otherwise in fantastic condition, IMO. *No box, no papers* - I bought this as a user, and a user it shall be. No longer available - but you already knew that. $175
2: ZT 0450CF: ****This was modified by a previous owner! This value priced ZT has had a (moderately well done) choil ground into the blade. It's not to my liking - and I found a new 0452CF while it was in transit - so I'm passing it along. The lanyard and the bead in the photo are NOT included. S35VN, ser. #1277 - not that it matters; the blade has been modified, and is priced accordingly. It's still a pretty nice, discreet EDC flipper, IMO. Box and papers included for $75 SOLD
3: ZT 0350SW; inc. a set of Kryptoglow blue scales. The bad: Very off center with the torsion bar installed; appears to sit against the non-lock side though it doesn't drag and deploys with authority. IIRC it's more centered with the torsion bar removed, but functions quite well as is. Kryptoglow scales DO NOT have a pocket for the torsion bar and additionally the lanyard holes do not line up - but I'm not going to try and sell a user ZT and custom scales with minor issues separately, so priced accordingly; no box or papers. Purple mini-lanyard (made by yours truly) included, free
. Not that it matters, bu this is S30V and ser. #0319 - a bargain at $80 SOLD
4: Damascus Skyline, 1760DAM. NEW! Box and papers, silica gel and baggie. Won't be bummed in the least if it doesn't sell - it'll give me an excuse to turn it into a user. Perfect gift for that person in your life that deserves a dress folder that can be EDC'd. $75 SOLD
5: Kershaws:
a: Thermite: $25, no box.
b: Freefall: $15
c: See above, identical twin - $15
d: Funxion EMT: This is a Wally World special - lower end steel, no glass breaker tip and no rubber inserts - still a perfect knife to keep in one's glove compartment. Speedsafe works fine; flipped it a few times and bought the non-WM version - your gain: $20
e: Emerson CQC-6K: I'd be hard pressed to say this is used, looks new. Centering...drags against the non-lock liner. Deploys fine, but closing it you can hear metal to metal contact. Blade is as new; this one didn't get carried by me tho previous owner may have. Good opportunity to try Ernest Emerson's Wave opening feature - which I lurve. Box and papers are, surprisingly, included. $20 SOLD
6: Spydercos:
a: Atlantic Salt: Unavailable, 'cause I don't know where it is. Perhaps some day I'll find it, or remember. Sorry - I'd like to sell it, but.....
b: Manix2 with custom scales, original black included: User with somewhat rounded tip (still sharp!) and (IMO) cool textured G10 scales, lanyard to match. Action needs a little TLC, lock is a bit sticky, IMO. Blade has been convexed - not an amateur job, but not perfect (or even close to it). Carried a bit before installing the scales - does the job of a knife MORE than adequately. I have another, so this one goes. $90
c: Manix2 LW: Great shape with box & paper. Flat ground CTS-BD1 - great for the Lefty on your gift list. Centered and sharp, used minimally - I have another that goes in my jersey pocket when I'm cycling. 65$ SOLD
d: Tenacious: Light user. Box included, just not the right one.$25 SOLD
e: Persistance: Also been carried a bit. Correct box included. $25 SOLD
f: ***Delica***: Heavily modified - this was a Wave model that has had the wave removed and some decorative filework done to the lockback. Done well, IMO - but it doesn't matter 'cause I can't find it, either.
7: Dendra Typhoon: Super beefy D2 folder (nearly a ½ lb.!) w/ G10 scales made by Lionsteel. Pictures speak louder than words on this one; box and adjustment tool come with. It's as good as new, IMO. $75
8: CRKTs:
a: Firespark: Surprisingly fast A/O - it has a unique opening method in that you push the thumbstud in to unlock it then out like a normal thumb opener. Deploys authoritatively from the contoured G10/steel frame. Has the non-auto LAWKS feature, original box and CRKT promo insert. I don't recall carrying it tho I probably cut some shtuff with it - I almost always do. $50
b: Crawford Kasper: This one is only available with another knife purchase. NEW! Box and paper included - $10 SOLD with any other purchase.
c: The little Carson has been given to a friend. Please don't ask if it's available. It's not.
9: Gerber, SOG
a: BG Scout - gone. Happy young lad owns this. I know you're disappointed - too bad.
b: Gerber Funkmaster: Not sure if that's the name of it or not. $5 SOLD if you buy anything else - or free if you buy something else and ask nicely.
c: Gerber Carson copy: Carried this a lot for work years ago. Flips great and still is quite usable - I'll keep it for sentimental value if no one wants it for $5 SOLD with another knife purchase. Seriously, it's a decent EDC beater for that special someone who shouldn't have nice things. Alternatively, you could keep it in your pocket with your CRK Umnumzaan and give it to anyone who asks if they can borrow your knife.
d: OKC Rat: Classic cheap EDC. Works.$15 SOLD
e: SOG Kiku 3.5": This one I won't be sorry about if it doesn't sell. Doesn't belong in this group - these things are a $100 new. This one, however, is not new. Good patina going on the linen Micarta scales, though the blade is pretty close to pristine. Fantastic little under-the-radar EDC with a distinct look and blade profile. Lanyard was made by yours truly (no need to get excited, it's not that awesome) and comes with. No box. $50 SOLD
