This speaks volumes. Same Name??? Most everyone knows what xxxx means around here. You clearly are on top of the situation.

This knife community looks after it’s own and does not take this kind of dishonesty lightly. If it was, a dishonest transaction.

I am putting the topic here to rest and will try and sell or trade the ZT0300. It really is in great shape it is the principle of the matter. I just don't understand why as I believe it would have sold for maybe $40 less.

If I have proof they are a member here I will post the issue in the correct place.

I just wanted to make sure that everyone was aware that i am NOT speaking about kershawguy. I did buy a few blems from him but as everyone is aware he is a stand up guy. Sorry for any confusion.

The person may be a member here, but the user name has less than 100 posts on bladeforums.

I just received confirmation from kershawguy based on name and address that he sold the zt0300 factory blemish to the person I bought from. He also verified they had several emails discussing that it was a factory blemish.

I will be contacting the moderators here to see if I can post something to warn others about this seller. I have already posted a warning on the certain flashlight forum I bought from.

I want to clarify again, kershawguy was the original seller not the person that mislead me. He has been very helpful and a stand up guy.

I agree about Kershawguy being a great seller.

I have had several PERFECT transactions with him and... will again very soon :)
 
Yep, Kershawguy is a stand-up dude. I got my factory blem 0300 from him not too long ago, and it's got the same "XXXX" engraving.

Time to out this jerk. Start a GB&U thread, name the name and supply the details (emails and info you received from kershawguy) and hopefully Esav will get involved.

I just read the thread over on the other forum. Also interesting is the angle of the pic showing the side with the XXXX. Knife is turned so they cannot be seen.

Looks like a deliberate attempt to mislead.

Kudos to both Dave's. (Kershawguy is also a Dave) Kershawguy has always been an absolute upstanding guy in all of my emails with him, I cannot recommend him more highly.

Glad you might be able to work this out.
