Well I didn't take pictures but this process is EEEEAAAAASSSSSYYYYYY!!!!!!!
I went to NAPA and ended up with a squeeze tube of Sta-Lube which is a synthetic grease for brake calipers. The Lithium grease came in a big tub and I didn't want that. But, the Sta-Lube sounded perfect. What to you think?
Sta-Lube (A spcially formulated synthetic grease containing molybdenum disulfide, graphite, and Teflon. Keeps critical sliding parts in brake calipers free for optimum braking efficiency. Helps to prevent caliper binding, sticking, vibration and squeal, and provides for even pad wear. Extremely high temperature features make certain this lubricant will not melt or run off caliper and drum brake systems.
Anyway, took the torx set and lifted the left side scale off and applied the grease in both slots and and along the tension bar/wire. It is now perfectly quite!!! But there was a side benefit...it now opens significantly faster than before!!! That graphite and teflon must be pretty slick.:thumbup::thumbup:
Thanks for all the help and directions guys!
