The knife is like new. When I got the knife it was not very sharp so I sent it to (heavy hands) hear on the forum for a professional sharpening. I send him all my knives because the come back VERY sharp and then they are easy to maintain. The knife is CTS-204P steel and the detent is perfect I think. Not to heavy or to light. The blade is centered and flips smooth as silk. It is serial # 239. I carried it a couple times walking the dog and cut a couple briars out of the trail. I have the box and letter that came with it.
