If that is true about the 0392, the people that paid close to double sure are going to feel really stupid. Oh I do love it. ;)

- My guess is it will be very similar to the ZT0454 situation where they came out with the ZT0450.

I imagine it might be more like the 0801 LEs, except no regular production base model. Various finishes and steels with the bonus of colorful hardware from Rick.
 
I wish they will release a bronze washed version with a satin finished blade. That would look awesome. Regardless of how many versions of the 0392 ZT releases, I'm sure that there's never enough to go around.;)

I don't think it's a big secret that they plan more versions of this knife. I'd guess a Hinderer tanto might be next. I'll never sell mine, so I don't care if they make 1,000 more.
 
Shocked the 0392 went from $1500>>$1000>>>$900>>$800>>now are at $500 range. Wonder what the bottom is gonna be?
First time I followed the price of a limited edition.

Not sure why you are "shocked"? Its all about supply and demand.

Theirs 12 0392's for sale on evilbay right now so of course the price is going to go down..once the flippers sell theirs off and the supply gets thinner then the prices will creep back up or level off.

The 0454 followed the same type of path.
 
Think about it. The ZT 0777 was so popular that they ended up making four iterations of it, and four regular production models in the 0770. I believe the 0888 had three iterations. The 0454 was popular enough to spawn two regular production versions. The 0801 spawned multiple versions. I would say it is very likely that we will see either the 0392 in some variation of color and steel, or a production version. Quite likely both if the success of the other Hinderer models is taken into considerations (0560/1/2 0550/1 0566

I'm with you on this. Mine isn't going anywhere.

I think its funny people are paying so much when they plan on more versions.... whatever they may be

Seen scalpers selling them for 550+.

I question why when you can get a new Hinderer for exactly that much from one of our bladeforums vendors. Maybe the m390 is worth the extra money over the s35vn that Hinderer uses.
 
I think it is more in the design and build that some may prefer.
I far prefer the ZT design of the 0561 and even the look and build alone of the 0392 over the hinderer models.
For the money I think that you get better flipping action and pay less for it new ( not aftermarket). And far less for the 0561 model.
