ZT0452CF: Too big to EDC?

Another vote for the 0452 carrying very well for its length. It's really slim in the pocket so it's far less "in the way" when reaching past it into your pocket for change, your SAK or slipjoint, etc than many wider, shorter designs.

I don't think the 0452 has a DLC blade and visa versa.

Actually there is but released for the Russian market only: DLC blade, CF scale + Blue Ti. It's a drool worthy rendition.

Side Note: Another one released for the Russian market was the 0095 in all natural Ti. Again a drool worthy rendition. Really wish ZT would stop doing these country specific releases.

As a random suggestion, check out the Bestech Swordfish, it has a very comparable profile, it's a a quarter of the price. You could try that for a while, if you like it, get the ZT?

Don't forget that the Bestech Swordfish comes in three colors too;

Orange, green and beige.

I think ZT has less to do with it, it's more nationwide distributors asking for those special editions for their markets, and since ZT relies on them, they oblige. It was the same with Blue Ridge and the 0452Ti/TiBLU, they weren't sold here in Europe or Russia because BR had the exclusive rights. I am sure if ZT could, they'd release all models globally since they don't really have a reason not to. But yeah, it'd been nice to get the all Ti one, but I do have the way to long named 0452CFM390BLKBLU (or whatever it's called. DLC Blade, Blue Ti, CF and M390 Blade) since it was a EU exclusive (the 0095 without Blackwash was the Russia one) as far I know.

I think it's greatest quality is how well it rides in the pocket. It is one of the least obtrusive in the pocket, which is interesting considering it is a sturdy, larger flipper. Doesn't get in the way of your hand or snag on things. Sort of vanishes, but is still easy to access. Best clip ever, IMO.
