Hey Guys,

I love my ZT0562CF, it is one of the best knives I've felt, production or custom. I planned on buying another one to have modded but they are impossible to get at a reasonable price. Jonas from JIKnives knocked it out with my bolstered Kwaiken so I started working with him on this build. First, Jonas was the nicest and easiest knife guy I've ever worked with, he also did both ahead of schedule. Second, he absolutely killed this, it looks exactly like it my head and I could not be happier. I will treasure this for as long as I'm into knives. This guy is going to blow up and I recommended if you want something, go get on his books. I already have a couple more things I want him to do for me.

Bolster - Chad Nichols three tone ladder mokume
Scale - Thunderstorm Kevlar.
Frame - Gold ano
HW - Bronzed everything
Blade - acid stonewash with polished flats, gold ano stop studs

If you got some ZT0562 mods, share them!!!

My plan with my Gayle Bradley and the 0561 that comes today is to make them like full customs. Really great work, I'll check this guy out.

looks very nice! do you know if he makes other scales? or know of anyone who makes custom scales for the 0562?

Wow - that is truly outstanding.

Would never have considered that colour scheme but it looks amazing, really unique piece you have there.

@stickymeat he was wiing to do any scale material I wanted. I just never had mokume or thunderstorm Kevlar so I choose those. I'm sure he does anything you want.

If I can get another ZT 0562 I'm going to have him do a lscf with copper inlays.

I'm pretty new to knives and I've been on the fence about getting into a ZT. I don't find them particularly attractive overall, however, this is a beauty. Very nice.

I was the same way about ZT. I've only been collecting knives for 2 years. I jumped right into really expensive customs and skipped the ZTs. I passed on a 0777 Damascus for $1000 (dumb) because I couldn't see paying that much for a ZT. I only bought the 0562cf because it was comparatively cheap and I wanted an edc. I can't tell you how impress I am with the stock 0562cf, it made me buy the ZT 0454 which is even more impressive. ZT is just awesome and I am planning on buying more. I hate to say value, but ZT is custom quality at a value price.

Now that I see what a guy like JIKnives can mod them to be, I want a lot more in my collection.

Thanks for all the positive comments guys!

I really like that you made the lock-side match the show side when going with a custom scale. Most of us just get a cool scale and leave the rest of the knife alone, you guys really went the extra mile.
