ZT0562CF and ZT0562 Pre-Orders

put my Pre order in yesterday for the 0562CF. cant beat the materials and components for the price IMO. same pivot bearing system as the 801, CF, and M390 as well as a framelock? yes please!

If BHQ charged your card for $5.00 or the multiples of it depending on how many things you pre-ordered, then you have a reserved knife for sure.

Cool. I'm really digging that knife. I handled a 0561 the other day and was very impressed.

Man I can't wait till it gets to Canada. Bout as close as I'll ever get to owning a Hinderer.

While ur there the BM940-1 is also avail for pre-order. CF and S90V. (3 times sharper than S30V?).

More excited for the 0620cf and the Kershaw Emersons. Never had an Emerson or a tanto before... Well that's about to change :D

Was thinking about putting in a preorder for the 0562cf, but decided against it. KVT hasn't been the best experience for me...

I decided to hold on pre-order this time to see the review based on the actual experience from others and shop for the best price.
I wanted 562CF only if CF is textured.

Out of curiosity do you mind sharing why your experience with KVT wasn't very good?

The balls either rusted or gained too much crap and the action got gritty on all my KVT ZT users that I own. However, this goes for all my knives with ball bearings, including Spyderco, CRKT and ZT. So I'd rather just not buy any more knives with that feature...

Sounds like you actually use your knives for stuff. It shouldn't be a problem for me. :D

I learned my lesson on preorders. While I waited around for my knives to ship that they way over sold I could have bought one elsewhere 10 times over. So while you guys are waiting for yours to ship ill give you a review lol

Thanks. We'll be waiting for your thoughts.

This is a production folder, its not a limited run, So I cant see any reason to pre-order. But does anyone have any idea when they will be available for purchase?

I'm about to preorder a couple of those Emerson Kershaws. At that low price, no reason not to.

Edit:
Preordered the Kershaw CQC-7K Tanto and the Kershaw CQC-8K Tanto. Criminy, all these tanto blades I keep buying, I'm going to be earning my Shopping Center Samurai merit badge here soon!

You mean MALL NINJA, blast it! A Shopping Center Samurai is more of a mythical creature, like a unicorn or to a lesser extent, vegan bbq ribs ;)

Actually I don't think it's been definitely established that the 0562cf isn't a limited production run. The 0562 is however intended I believe to be a regularly offered/non-limited production. Even if both are not limited, folks who want to be the first kids on the block to own a 0562/0562cf have a strong incentive to pre-order to ensure they receive one of the initially produced models which first hit the market.

As to when they will be available, the definitive answer here is not soon enough.
