Got mine today, thanks KSF and in my pocket. I like it better than the 0450 and it is just the right size for me.

Got mine today and it's a perfect size EDC for me and my example is flawless with fantastic action and beyond smooth!

I passed on the 0450 because i have large hands and the slightly bigger 0808 is perfect for me.

I'm assuming you mean the 801, it's much smaller but still feels good in the hand, it'll be a better slicer due to the thinner blade and the grind yet still feels substantial in the hand.

Far and away my smoothest Zt out of the box... no need to even use any nano oil and has a perfect detent, you cannot "not" flip this thing!

For a knife this size it's quite heavy, relatively speaking. IMO they could have gone with standoffs and saved a bunch of weight.

0808 Arrived today from knives ship FAST should be called..here are a few pics. Detent is super strong but it is breaking in

I been using it all day, I hardly notice it in the pocket. I like the tip it has a nice point yet it is much thicker than the paramilitary's tip which I have broke in the past. I wear a size large in gloves and can get a four finger grip on it. I noticed a few are selling on ebay for $250 plus shipping but if you are looking for one I think House of blades still has some in stock for $200. Definitely the Goldilocks of all my ZT Knives for me.

I don't get this. The 0808 is a regular production knife, right? So why the rush to buy one on fleaBay for more than MAP when all you have to do is wait a week or so and get one at the normal advertised price? If it was a limited, I could understand, but regular production??

Kai killed it with this one! as far as production knives go this thing is on par with any of the 10 or so Shiro's i have owned including SRBS models.
It's as smooth if not smoother, the action is every bit as fast with the only real difference being no carved clip but with the 700.00 or so you'll save i'm sure you could have a pretty nice one made...

Supply and demand. Right now the demand is up and the supply is low. I see this all the time with sellers on eBay and here on the forums.
I've bought many knives from that seller on eBay. I've gotten some good deals from them. They do good business.

Third day in my pocket and with the deep pocket clip it feels secure. I felt that the original clip it sat too high and I would lose it.

You don't happen to have an extra one of those deep carry clips? I can't find the manufacture one like yours. They only have aftermarket ones on eBay but i think yours looks way better.
