**Please read carefully**
This is a ZT0808 I purchased from a fellow on Instagram. He was the original owner and had it modded by tra_designs (Instagram) who I understand does a lot of these mod jobs. Long story short, I wasn't really satisfied with the transaction, so I'm trying to move this along to someone who will like it better while I recoup some of my funds.
The work is a little uneven in quality. The frame was anodized a blue and gold "splatter" pattern and this was done well. The blade was refinished with a two-tone acid stonewash/polished flat, and there are some flaws: the polished flat looks a bit uneven, and there is a small dark spot on the blade, not really sure what it is, possibly a little bit of acid was left on too long?
The main issue with the knife at least IMO is the sharpening job. The blade is EXTREMELY sharp, but it was re-profiled with a very steep secondary bevel, which "wobbles" a little toward the heel of the blade. Also, the "mirror" finishing wasn't done all that well as it shows some scratches.
There is one other issue with the knife: it is missing a backspacer screw on the lock side. I have confirmed that the threading isn't stripped, but the original owner says it arrived back to him from the modder that way. I would think ZT can supply a replacement screw.
Finally, this knife was carried so there are some scratches on the blade and scales. Otherwise the knife is typical ZT quality: the centering is good, there is no blade play, and the flipping action is amazing.
Given the various issues I'm offering this at $115 shipped to your door PayPal G&S. I think it would make a great carry knife if you like the style and the issues don't bother you (or you want to clean them up yourself.)
