Hey guys, wondering if anyone has a 620, 562, and a 566 they could put beside each other in a picture. Possibly a in hand one aswell. Really lusting over a 620 and 562 right now but I'm worried they'll be to big to comfetably pocket everyday. Thanks in advance.

Here are a couple of shots that include those three. The 0562, 0566, and 0620 even happen to be right next to each other.

Awesome Flarp. That couldn't have been a better pic. Nice collection there, thanks a lot!!

Is the 562s cutting edge much thinner than the 566?

I am starting to wonder if I made a poor decision going for the ZT0620CF instead of the ZT0562CF.

No wrong choice between those two... although my preference would have been the 0562CF. If there's ever a 0630CF though........

Is the 562s cutting edge much thinner than the 566?

I get the following measurements with my cheap-o calipers...

0562 (factory edge)
- Blade stock: 0.153"
- Thickness behind the edge: 0.030"
- Thickness ~1/4" behind the edge: 0.061"
- Thickness ~1/2" behind the edge: 0.090"

0566 (sharpened, a little under 20 dps)
- Blade stock: 0.118"
- Thickness behind the edge: 0.026"
- Thickness ~1/4" behind the edge: 0.059"
- Thickness ~1/2" behind the edge: 0.085"

Blade stock was measured near the pivot (where it is at full thickness). Edge thickness measurements were at the end of the straight section of the blade (near the beginning of the belly) of each respective blade.

Those readings are probably within the margin of error (of my taking the measurements by hand, and of the calipers themselves), so I'd say the edge geometry is pretty comparable between the two. The thicker blade stock on the 0562 will mean that if you cut all the way down and through some rigid material, the blade will act like that much more like a wedge compared to the 0566.
