ZT's Elmax; Educate me? :-)

You like it more than M390?? I gotta know why. And M4? Maybe its the corrosion resistance then......:confused:
 
Yeah, you got it, I like the corrosion resistance. Performance wise M390 and M4 are superior, but I sweat a lot and any knife in my pocket is usually in a moist environment. I'm probably just paranoid about corrosion and I clean my knife at the end of each day, but I just like the peace of mind Elmax gives me I guess. I'm sure most prefer at least a few steels over Elmax, and I can't argue with that.
 
I could be mistaken, but I think ELMAX and M390 are about the same as far as corrosion resistance. M390 is extremely corrosion resistant, in fact it has 20% Chromium to ELMAX's 18%.
