zzzzzzzzzzz

Welcome and good luck with your addiction being satisfied. There have been a few times where I thought I was over getting new blades but after a few months with a new knife I start to get the itch again :)

Welcome and great selections. Especially love the Sage 1.

The rattle in the ZT is the Speed Safe spring bouncing around in the cavity because of a lack of tension. If you apply some grease to it it'll knock it right out.

You could get a torx set and blue Loctite to adjust the centering if it bothers you that much.

Thanks. Neither one drags on the frame so I'm leaving them as-is. I enjoy the tiger stripe tungsten coating. I went with partial serration because it reminds me of a shark :)

Enjoyed post of your collection, and now that you mention it that ZT does look like a shark. Cool.

WELCOME!

And that's it hope my addiction is satisfied after these!
LOL, famous last words!

Sage, eh? Then you might like the Spyderco Caly or Caly 3.5, both in ZDP189 and CF.

Also, for a gentlemen's folder, consider the Boker Kwaiken or Urban Trapper, both in VG10 and CF.

Thanks Travis! Great suggestions. How about the Benchmade Small Summit Lake?

Certainly classy. The tip-end jimping looks like that one would work well with the fore finger extended along the spine for discrete box/package opening.

Welcome, and nice collection. I've always considered the TS in my ZT350TS to stand for Tiger Shark, rather than stripe. Just seems right with the coloring. I have noticed that if the pivot is not locktite'd it will loosen over time with use. The off centering may simply be corrected with a tiny amount of tightening.

I've also found that the better Spyderco's are very consistent with blade centering and a straight final bevel. Most of the time anyway. And I'm really liking every Taiwan model I've purchased. But don't discount the newer ZT's because of your first 350. Every ZT I've gotten in the last year have been very refined with much more attention to final edge grind.

Good luck with your addiction. You're gonna need it. ;)

Hi,

I'm very new to blades and started buying what I like.

Looking forward to receiving a LNIB Rubicon and a BNIB Marfione Anax next! And that's it hope my addiction is satisfied after these!

Welcome and I doubt it'll stop the urge to buy more sweet steel; it's a sickness... ;):foot::thumbup:

I'm my wallet's own worst enemy.

A couple pics; first one is some of the current folders in my "collection":
