I believe this is now resolved. Can anyone confirm?
Ironically, this morning, I came across one stumbling block. In clicking on a linked (BF) thread in reading a post, the link began with '
http://www.bladeforums.com', and that logged me out while connecting me to that thread under 'https' in the address bar. I'd earlier read or seen (or maybe figured out) that if the links begin with '
https://bladeforums.com' (including the 'https' AND omitting the 'www'), they work as they should, without logging me out. I manually edited the URL in the address bar to omit the 'www', and was immediately connected to the thread under my own account.
With all the thousands upon thousands of older 'www' BF links embedded in users' posts on the site, I don't know that this is something easily fixed by you or your staff alone. It may come down to making everyone aware of the pitfall in those, and relying on members to (eventually) edit/correct those links they've embedded in their own posts. OR, maybe there's some sort of parsing/script solution to redirect, I don't know.
At any rate, I'm thankful for all effort by you and your staff, in working the bugs out.
