Übergrinder

That is a great design! How are you liking the pneumatics? If you went with a gas spring, what size would you use?
 
The pneumatics are great.

I wonder why I waited so long to try it actually...
being able to dial in tension is outstanding, as is killing the air, and leaving all the belts slack overnight.

I think I have 20# springs on my other grinders, but I use lighter tension than most folks.
I've been to a few of the ABS types shops, and Hammer-In's and it seems like most guys use a LOT more tension than me.

The pneumatics will do that, or go nice and light.
 
Dang Brian, I used to be impressed by your knives, now I'm equally impressed by your equipment. I wish I had a fraction of your skills...
