Well I grabbed 3 versions to see which one would stick with me. 2 were picked up here on the forum, and one I luckily grabbed from the latest Monkey Muster. These were my first Hindys, but I just don’t appreciate them like I know others will. I haven’t personally cut anything with these blades and all edges look factory to me.
First is the MONKEY MUSTER VIII - Hinderer Knives XM-18 3.5 Inch Spanto w/Tri-Way - Battle Black Monkey Edge FRAG Pattern CPM-3V $old. This one I was sure I was going to keep, it’s not even fully broken in yet.
Next is a Hinderer XM18 3.5" Skinny No Choil 2-tone slicer in M390. Battle Black with heat flamed screws, bronze horse head nuts, bronze stand offs. According to the previous seller it is lightly used, but you’d hardly tell. Action is superb on this one. $old to recoup what I paid.
Lastly is a “3.5 Gen 4 Fatty stonewashed harpoon blade bronze ano and bronze ano monkey edge frag, bronze spacers..tiny mark on clip, blade never used. Perfect action.” -as quoted from original owner’s listing. No box. I’d like to recoup the $old spent for this one.
