I still have a silver knight!

Dang Coleman, you opened this thread at the right time. I've been sorting and packing a couple boxes of old knives to give to my nephew and his boys.

I know knives have come a long ways since I first got interested in them, but the difference in what may have caught my eye or got stuck in my pocket all those years ago is very different from what I choose now.

Fixed blades have always been my preference so for a long time folders were just an after thought to compliment whatever fixed blade I carry and I didn't give them much thought.

I still prefer and carry at least a small fixed blade almost daily but my tastes and choices in folders has caught up some to my taste in fixes.. So looking at some of the folders I have carried 20 or 30 years ago vs today made me smile and chuckle out loud. Thanks! 😄

I work a shift at our church thrift sale each year. I found this little guy in the box o'knives, which generally are cheap junk.

I was surprised and happy to find this Blackie Collins Tri-Fold in the box. Made br Case in 1984 based on the second decade dot-era stamp.

This is a cool little knife that operates smoothly, albeit not one handed for me anyway, and it locks up solid.
