I bought this on our honeymoon 6-80 at the Acorn knife store in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. We were on a Harley and camping!! Carried it for a while tucked in my boot!!

Was given this knife at the age of 9. 5 minutes after being handed this I sliced my finger open and a trip to the er for stitches followed.
Mom took it off me and gave it back to me much later in life!!
Probably why I still have it. Unused and never carried!!

I agree, and there's an "Old Knives" thread for that. This thread is for "older" knives that trigger nostalgia for us young'uns.

I bought this Mini-Grip in 2004. There's nothing really nostalgic about it, but it was my first modern folder.

Bought this Eye Brand as a young Boy Scout in 1980. I learned how to sharpen on a whetstone and carried it every day in my pocket all the way through college. Still gives me a thrill to put it back in my pocket.
