I know two good makers in Montgomery, just down the road from you near Conroe (sp?). Both are on here, one is a Journeyman Smith and the other is a stock removal guy. I recommend you look up DanCo on here and tell him I told you get in touch with him, he's a good buddy of mine. He'll be able to work something up just how you want in your price range. The JS maker goes by Anvilring on here, he's a good guy as well.

I'll see whats up faster14riot. And yeah i pretty much dislike then both.. But i just ordered my esee -5 so it's going to be a while till I buy another one unless i dislike my esee

As soon as you decide to get a custom sheath, your knife options will increase exponentially. Thats why Becker knives ROCK !!! You don't pay for any frills. Put that money towards a custom sheath. The stock Becker sheaths are adequate for most of the line. BUT---The BK4 Machax & the new BK15, BK16 & BK17 sheaths ROCK !!! Sounds to me like a BK16 LE (sabre grind & laser etched "first production run & Ethan Becker" into the blade) is just perfect for you. Regular run 15, 16(full flat grind) & 17 are supposed to go on sale tomorrow.

Haha. I was looking at those .. Think i've found my next knife!!! THANKS! Do you know where a good place to place an order? Besdies knifecenter --- Do you know how thick the knives are? esp. the BK17?
